SEC Investigates Steve Jobs Heart Attack “Joke”

No Steve Jobs = free-falling Apple Inc. stock? The SEC is trying to take a look at whether a rumor posted on CNN's iReport on Friday negatively affected Apple’s stock. As a joke, a “citizen journalist” posted a report that the tech guru was rushed to the hospital with a heart attack.

Is Steve Jobs such a cult of personality that investors lose confidence in Apple at the prospect of the loss of his helmsman-ship? I guess we’ll have to see what the SEC says.
